QCD Named Safest Operator in Samsara’s 2025 Connected Operations Awards

QCD has earned vendor recognition as the Safest Operator for Samsara’s 2025 Connected Operations Awards, a recognition that highlights QCD’s outstanding commitment to safety, innovation, and driver well-being.

The QCD team attended Samsara’s Beyond Conference in late June to accept the award. Mickey Horton, Senior Director, Environmental, Health, and Safety, also shared about QCD’s success with Samsara’s tools.

QCD's safety culture prioritizes coaching over corrective action. By leveraging Samsara’s AI Dash Cams, HD video, in-cab alerts, and Connected Training platform, QCD has taken a data-driven approach to reduce high-risk behaviors and incidents, while improving compliance and driver retention.

Additionally, Samsara’s Electronic Logging Device (ELD) solution and digital workflows have led to record driver training completion rates, a major leap from QCD’s former paper-based process. This award affirms QCD’s ongoing commitment to enhancing fleet safety, optimizing operations, and maintaining the highest standards in the transportation industry.
