Women in the Warehouse: Jodi Whitlock

Each month, GSF features a woman leader within the GSF family of companies, sharing her journey, insights and what it takes to succeed in this industry.

In honor of Veteran’s Day this month, GSF’s featured Woman in the Warehouse is Jodi Whitlock, a proud veteran and invaluable team member at Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) Los Angeles. Demonstrating admirable values and unwavering dedication over the past two years, Jodi now serves as warehouse manager for the distribution center.

During her military service, Jodi developed crucial skills and cultivated values such as integrity, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. Given her strong foundation, she has successfully managed a warehouse team of more than 75 associates who give 100 percent effort. That dedication is what she appreciates most about her role.

“The Creed and Values that GSF has goes hand-in-hand with my military training. Take care of your troops, and they will give you 100%,” Jodi says. “The people here are truly special. They not only care about their customer, but each other.”

Jodi believes women can succeed in this industry, and she shares, “If you are a woman that has a strong understanding of logistics, are a good listener, team player, trustworthy and a good communicator, this career will be very rewarding for you.”
