Xavier Alcala Earns 2025 IFDA Rising Star Award for Transforming QCD Driver Experience

At the 2025 International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) Solutions Conference, QCD Transportation Director Xavier Alcala earned recognition as a Rising Star, an award honoring top foodservice distribution leaders under 40.

Xavier led QCD’s digital route transformation, a company-wide initiative that streamlined driver tools and improved operational efficiency. He identified that drivers were overwhelmed juggling multiple apps for proof of delivery and communication. In response, he spearheaded the development of an all-in-one, driver-focused platform.

Under Xavier’s leadership, QCD consolidated route outlines, real-time customer communication, checklists, admin tools, and AI-driven predictive analytics into a single system, dramatically improving the driver experience and reducing digital fatigue.
